I was just wondering if u people could help me out by telling what company would be the best, so if some of u could tell me what mods and what company how much full comp cost it would be a great help
It depends on your location, car, driving record, insurance history and age. It's best for you to ring around.
I've used AAMI, NRMA, Unique Car Insurance Services, DirectDial, Shannons, and a couple of others... I change to suit what meets my needs and what car I have at the time.
I started out paying 1400 per year on a 4000 car. Now I pay up to 650 on a 19000 car.

DiecDial is now Allianz and they dont insure any mods, i konw coz when they took over the price for my AUI XR8 went from $43 a month to $83. For no apparant reason other than gouging.
As stated, it all depends.
I am 23 insuring a TS50 with NRMA, with moded exhaust, lowered.
It cost me $3000 p.a. Just car insurance (who I was with, when I had my
EL XR6 were the cheapest with that car) wanted $5700 with the TS.
No way I was paying that, so I can only lower the TS50 30mm from factory
by NRMA or it is not covered.
Keep ringing my friend, expect that to take 2-4 hours though.
I was always complaining about insurance prices in New Zealand until I realised how much it is overseas. $3000 is just crap man, I would never dream of paying that for insurance. I'm 18 and I pay $1300 a year for full comprehinsive insurance on my EA (although I dont declare my mods, because if I do they will cut my insurance completely).
Mr Assface - by doing that, well, you are just living up to your userID. You are wasting $1300 per year by not telling them about your mods. In the event of an accident, you will have paid the premium for a policy that could be cancelled because you did not comply with the full discloure provisions in the policy. At this time, you will be wishing that your face was your ass!
Lord_Nemesis, as with EBXR, I too use what ever company is the "best" for me at the time. Currently have 2 cars insured through AAMI. The AU XR6 is $680 per year, the AU2 Wagon is $390. I have 70% NCB for life and am over 30 - sh!t, I'm now over 35!!! AAMI allow 3 mods to your car.
JustCars allow as many mods as you like, but in my experience their premiums are around double AAMIs. Of course, a 4th mod with AAMI means that they won't cover you, so JustCars (underwritten by AAMI, BTW) then becomes one of only a few options available - Shannons being the other that I know of.

Mr Ass Face you are only thinking of the money.
My TS is insurued for $40,000, and I will be covered when I make a claim.
Anyone can lie, and get a cheaper price, but you will not be covered later.
You pay nearly half what I pay, for a car that is not worth a quarter of my
car, that will not be covered when you have an accident.
Thats just crap man.
Guys, Im not stupid ok? The simple fact is that if I declare those mods, my insurance will be cancelled, and I need insurance for my loan. If I didnt have a loan for the car, it would not be insured, but seeing as how I dont have a choice, I may aswell pay the insurance and keep my mouth shut.
