I had a look at the Jim Mock Motorsport site at the available DEV kits he has and was wondering why the differences in less rwkw there are as opposed to a VCT motor?

For instance a DEV 3HL motor - 150rwkw @ $2500
And a AU VCT DEV 3+ motor - 145rwkw @ $2800

Why such a price difference and less power?

The difference is due to the VCT vechile having a unichip installed and tuned

Thanks wizric, pity the VCT's dont make more power than non VCT's when those dev kits are installed.

yeah im thinking about getting that 3hl one... mainly because I need more power, but as a 17 year old would not get away with bolting a turbo on... hmmm sleeper :)

the DEV3HL uses a larger cam than the DEV3 VCT kit, hence the greater power......
