Hey everyone, Im getting a JMM DEV VCT kit very soon, and I have a slight dillema. I am going to get something similar to Casper's setup. The dillema is, I live near Wagga Wagga, and its a fair drive to get there.
If I ordered the parts, got them shipped over, would there be a problem in having another (proffesional) person put the kit on?? Or do JMM do something special that would make it necessary for them to do it?
Oops I forgot to mention, if anyone doesnt know what Casper's setup is, it is basically Race series extractors, Redback mandrel bent 2 1/2 exhaust, hi flow cat, pod filter, spark plugs. Thats it I think...
You should have no problems getting someone else to fit them for you mate but JMM do do a few little secrets twists and turns and calibrations to some underbonnet items when the do the DEV kits, you may miss out on these.
Yeah well ive heard from guys that have had there car on the JMM dyno that they will run say, 138kw, then one of the guys will stick his hand under the bonnet with a pair of pliers and the reading will jump up to 144kw. Nifty little tricks !
