I just found out that I have a hole to mount a knock sensor on my NC's engine block. So I was just wondering what output the sensor creates when the engine is running normal and when it is pinging? And how much can I expect to pay for a knock sensor?

if it aint there don't put one in,,if the car needed it it would already be set up,,so don't bother

The car might not need it, but it would be nice to know for tuning purposes when the car is pinging. I just did a google search for knock sensor and found this page
