Just enquiring if anyone has info on what to go for in terms of brands, impco etc. Is it better to have straight gas or dual fuel on eec v.AU2. I live in Western suburbs vic any recommendations?
I generally travel over 500km per week, there is a difference in power however it's not an incredibly large difference, one that is definately outweighed by the savings.
Economy wise, I get approx 12l/100 on Petrol and 16.5l/100 on LPG
Good brands are (Viaalie, impco, parnell) .. These are the prob the best systems avialble for the ford l6.. The lesser quaility ones are landi, brc, sprintgass, .. All work ok but the first group hold there tune much better

Note that the factory system is actually Vialle not Parnell. Get a Vialle system if you want the same converter that was fitted by Tickford for Dual Fuel from EF to AU3 and Ford for straight gas from AU to BA.
Yes but the parnell/polly auto converter, is almost idential to the viallie, they only difference is the polly auto/parnell has a adjustable idle jet. They are an exact rip from each other...
Its all in how much you are willing to spend really it will cost beetween 1700-2200, fford a decent quality set up

Thanks guys, I will do some ringing around. I will investigate Parnell at Laverton and Gas research. I'm pretty sure the computer handles both fuels better these days with EEC V. I know I will have to compromise slightly on power but it will come back when on running on petrol.
