Hey all i took my rocker cover manifold off, becuase i wented to check out the chain guides. Put everything back on, but i think the gasket has a leak in it? I put a tube from my ear to the area between the head, and rocker, and i can hear a hissing noise.

Normal?

If not what symptoms are common from this problem?

a new rocker cover gasket. as soon as you pull it off you break the seal and very rarely when you put them back on will it seal properly. just get a new one peice rubber one from bursons or somewhere like that. dont get a cork one!!!

You might just be hearing the hissing noise from the PCV valve

They are b*astards to put back in because they are really loose. When I put my cover back on after changing the head gasket, it looked like the rubber gasket/seal was too big for the cover, just keep persisting hehe
