Losing power quickly

Hey there just recently purchased a 1987 ea falcon cpi and im constantly losing power,

any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I had this problem as well but after spending several hundred dollars, never ended up finding out what it was.

It was told to me that it could be as easy as replacing the dizzy... worth a try, I never got around to trying that myself.

Fuel pump would probably be the best starting point, probably better to get a mechanic look at it, could one of many different things.

thank you very much for the information, will get the dizzy checked and also will get the fuel pump checked but fuel delivery seems to be fine, and i also have no power at all on take off but have good power from 40km upwards which is very weird and frustrating

How could it be an 87 when the EA didnt get released till may 88.
