low cost I6 upgrades?

Anyone know of any low cost upgrades for an I6 200ci motor? wanna push some more power outta her. also, need to know where i can find a 3 speed tranny to match. whoever had the car b4 my friend bought it at the englishtown auction tore out the 3 speed and replaced it with a c4. i wanna keep it mostly origional as far as the drive train goes, at least for now! hehe!

Re: low cost I6 upgrades?

Might want to add more details about your engine mate..
Is it an American block? what year?
Without that information there is no point making recomendations..
Cheers

Re: low cost I6 upgrades?

sorry man, it's a '66 inline 6 cyl, american motor. single bbl carb. i'm lookin at some of the stuff on this site - http://cquesttechnologies.com/fspp/orderonline.asp but it looks like it's gonna be kinda pricey. just wanna know if and what i can do on a low budget just to get a few more ponies till i can afford a bigger motor or if i decide to leave this one origional. any help will be greatly appreciated.
