Ive got a 95 EF Fairmont with the factory auto, and Im looking to do a T5 manual conversion. My concern is will fitting a XR6 manual ECU or standard falcon manual ECU have any effect on my climate control and cruise control as some of the XRs and falcons didnt come out with these options. I would like to hear from any one who has done this conversiond in any E series Fairmont/Fairlane ghia as Im sure they would be fairly similar to what Im looking at.

no, however i found bridging the neutral switch on the auto is easier and saves a lot of hassle

and why would it do that? all it does it thinks its in nutral 24/7. the only thing it does basiclly it switches the thermos on 24/7, and no my ecu doesnt throw any errors

all i fitted was a manual engine bay loom, to the gear box, and im running the stock eb ecu... it idles rough but other than the works good
