mixture

how will i know when ive got the fuel/air mixture correct?
and what should my idle be ?

IF YOUR MOTOR IS IN GOOD CON AND HAS A MIX SCREW" AS SOME POST 86 DIDNT" JUST SCREW IN UNTIL IT DROPS IN REVS AND THEN OUT 1/4 TURN. THIS IS JUST A BALL PARK ADJUSTMENT AND IF SCREWING DOES NOTHING THEN LOOK AT OTHER TUNNING POSSIBILITYS. IDLE SPEED FOR YOUR CAR SHOULD BE ON THE STICKER ON THE FIRE WALL. IF NOT 850-950 WILL PUT YOU IN THE BALL PARK.
