My Xe is running rough

Mum told me to post here because my XE is not going right.
its backfiring and revs really good when you have the clutch in but when you go to take off it dies.
I have to have the revs high to keep the engine running.
Can anyone help me ?

lol, just keep doing burnouts... then the revs won't drop!

Seriously tho i'm with laminge, adjust the clutch and check your timing/idle speed.
