Re: new cam

How much to install it?
are you saying $400 to install alone or ~100-150 to install?

Re: new cam

Don't Like Lumpy Cams??

Like .... yeah.. I love the lumpy ones, but i dont care about fuel econ and i run a carb.

I beleive that efi engines have some restrictions on cam sizes.. Recommended Sizes!!

Re: new cam

I'm sure most standard non-turbo EFI computers can only handle stage 1 and 2 cams as big overlap confuses them. They think ur accellerating at idle cos the vacuum is down. For the 4.0L OHC I recommend 205 dur at 0.050" and 0.480" lift with std valve springs. Wade Cams and Crow Cams have ones which is spot on. Has anyone tried Kelford Cams in Nerang ???
