If you have an EF then your speedo is out by about 5%.
It reads 100kmh your going only 95kmh really. you hit the speed limiter at 180kmh and its really only going 171kmh.
You need to get a new speedo drive gear to fix it. less than $10 from Ford and 10 minutes to fit.
You have probably got a light green 21 tooth gear so if you buy a grey 22 tooth gear all will be back to normal. Well almost. If its an auto it will now hold the gears 5% longer before changing up but that will be good if you like to rev it a bit.
the 3.45 is grey IIRC, thats whats in mine and it's pretty accurate far as i can tell
