take the air box out and try get under there.
I'm not sure on specific sizes of spanners etc but we just go in and did it, left the manifold on.
it took a while but we got it done up sooner or later.

I got a 8" ajustable spanner that could *just* open large enough to grip the sender. I then cut the handle in half with an angle grinder to make it usable under the intake manifold. I got to the sender from underneath the car as well.
1 remove oil filter
2 using 1" tube socket - remove the pressure switch - you need a tube socket to get over the end of the switch and 25mm socket is too small
3 using 19mm stubby spanner - tighten the pressure sender (I cut down an el cheapo spanner as it was a lot less than buying a set of stubby open ender / ring spanners)
4 regret you installed the S Pack dash- when you find that the bearings are worn because now you can see how the oil pressure drops to 25lb when the engine gets hot
3 using 19mm stubby spanner - tighten the pressure sender (I cut down an el cheapo spanner as it was a lot less than buying a set of stubby open ender / ring spanners)
or gind out a 15mm to 19mm and cut down as i didn't even know such stubby spanners existed!
i made mine for 351 clevo work P/S hose and oil press switch and i'll need to make another as the original is now LOST
Just a word of caution. I put a sports pack in an ED just as you are doing. I don't know about the EF, but in the ED I found that having put my existing speedo innards in the new cluster, the speedo was wrong - and the wrong way for me too! I had it recalibrated and it was OK. May not apply to you, but you don't want to have to part with ANY money unnecessarily.......
