I got quoted $600 for pacemaker tuned and lengthed comp series headers including installation part number is (4480), its for an EB xr6, is this a good price??, if not can u recommend any places, im in Mandurah W.A.

I got quoted $480 fitted but that was for the other pacemaker ones (4499), mines an EB2Ghia so I think they're the same. I think its a bit expensive. I think eBay have extractors, eBay 4499 $340 eBay 4480 $410 These aren't fitted, and can be picked up Cheltenham or Blackburn South Victoria. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....tem=2488383299

ye problem is getting em fitted, the extractors i gotta have are different to the ones ur getting and the guy was telling me there $535 just for the extractors thats i think not much more then trade prices, so that makes only $65 for the fitting and considering they have to move the cat around and cut bits and wld new pipes i dont think its too bad aye

I got pacemaker comps fitted 2 weeks ago on my auxr6 for $440, think your gettin ripped off. get the yellow pages out and shop around . The price you got could be for hpc coated comps. I put a cai on the same day and you can feel the difference, my car is without doubt quicker and smoother

ye there HPC coated comps... but does that really add up to $100 difference?

$600 for hpc comps is about the goin rate, the cheapest quote i got was$630 and the dearest was $1000. The hpc ones look nicer ,they look abit like an alloy finish although i've been told they dont stay that way for to long. they are also supposed to keep your engine bay cooler.Any extra power gain would be minimal

No the hpc coating looks like polished alloy, the blueish colour is the heat paint that the non hpc headers are painted with
