POD air filers. (ed falcon)
Hey all .. just wondering, if anyone has replaced the stardard air box with a pod filter...
Just wondering, if it does make any different? or does it go better with a pod? or just the standard air box? or does not make any differencee?
Thanks! :)
Antony.

no point unless you have a good cold air induction setup,or you just want it for the sound ,better of just getting a k&n panel filter

Very true THEONE, but its not that hard to set up a good CAI.
Ive been using a pod for 10 years, and i swear by them.

They make a difference for sound and go, looks tuf aswell the better setup you put into a cold air intake the more efficient it will be. and as long as its properly secured your safe from cops when they check it.....

i just have the 45 deg bend out of the throttle body, going to a straight piece of 3 inch, then the pods mounte3d to that and sitting on the inner guard.. i was thinking of getting an ef snorkle to pump some cold air onto it but not sure if its worth the effort

Iy you have it in a box it would be worth it, but get an XH snorkle, not an EF.

XH Snorkle, EF (EECV air box) and there is a K&N washable pod in there :0)

Have you still got the ridge in the snorkle, or have you removed it or better air flow?

Ridge has been removed, and a metal plate put in to direct air straight up to the snorkle behind the grille as well.

Good to see, alot of people just whack them in.
Ive got to make myself a new plate for directing air now, as my last one got a bit bent.
