Using this Hp-1/4mile calculator http://www.stangnet.com/calcs/etcalc.htm
For a 1600Kg(full weight with driver) car you would need a minimum of 180Kw to run a 14.2 1/4 (with perfect launch, traction, shifting etc)
Stock is 161Kw, lets say a cam, exhaust, cold air etc brings 200Kw? Maybe some weight reduction also (50kg?)
Seems like it wouldnt be that hard to me

Martin you need to get your figures right. The 180kw that was calculated was infact 180rwkw. The standard 161kw is at the flywheel to convert this to rearwheel decrease it by 25% for transmission lose. Doing this on the 200Kw we'd get 150rwkw. Not enough, sorry try again!!!
