i ended up putting about 44 L of PULP into my BA and still had an odd 25 L or so of ULP, after driving around for 20 minutes, i took it up to about 4000 revs in N to see how it would handle and there was a slight back fire nothing too extreme. but then when i started the car up the next day it was running fine. would that have done any damage i only wanted to give premium a go to see how it is its not like i am going to use it al the time.

And next time someone tells you PULP is expensive they haven't factored in the injector cleans that are necessary when using cheapo fuel.
I nevers saw a performance gain in the EL on PULP but the economy equated to around an extra 100Ks per tank.
The BOSS just loves BP Ultimate, nothing else is going in the tank. You dont run re-treads on a performance car why run a budget fuel.
Strange, I got no economy increase at all on PULP but the perfomance gain was VERY noticable. Maybe thats why the economy suffered, haveing too much fun again.

I get both with the BA too, its 8c/litre worth of smile.
My AU is like a differenet car when running on PULP, i dont see much gain in economy however. Prolly cause its running so rich anyway.
I use nothing but Mobile PULP, i find Optimax and BP Ultimate can be a little unpredictable , eg. sometimes you get a good tank and sometimes you get a shit tank.
