Umm... I thought there was no limiter on the 3.9.

The majority of people I have spoken to agree with this. Also, I have had my 3.9 hit 6000rpm during a gear change, and I didn't notice any limiter.

If there is one, what rev does it come in at?

My NB is rev limted at the redline perhaps its due to the digital dash not being able to display a speed above 199 km/hr.

hmm.. thats interesting. We had this discussion a while back on the EA board and quite a few people said they have never noticed a limiter in there 3.9.

Are you sure it's not a fuel pressure/flow issue?

Anyone else have any opinions on the topic?

to my knowledge, they dont have a limiter... my ea didn, nor does my eb.

what do you mean by surging? it could be that since ur ride is supercharged your fuel pump may not be able to keep up with tha air the compressor is providing.... i dunno, just a thought
