Just wondering,

Has anyone removed the XF EFI air box and replaced it with a pod filter somewhere else in the engine bay?

I have been planning mods for my XF when I get it, and have found the Air box to be in a bloody stupid spot.
It sits on top of the exhaust (as you might know) and gets bloody hot.
All this does is feed hot air into the inlets and stuffs up performance.

So has anyone move the air box? or replaced it with a pod filter? And if so, how did you go about modifying the Air flow meter to fit in the new intake?

I have plans, but I just want some other ideas as well.

You could put a pod filter, but then the battery gets in the way, do a search in the forum, because i think of the top of my head MADXF had made and adapter and someone else has included a drawing on how to do it.

P.S have you got SLO006 as your plate?
