So do we know what the rev limit is in a 3.9 Multipoint auto EB1 yet.

I believe the rev limit on one of these cars is 5500rpm in all gears, as I have hit plenty of times with my blowneb, and it shits me coz the engine is still making more power but I wouldnt put it past 6000 though, can anyone correct me on this.

I'm pretty sure it the same as my EF which is 5700.....I know that for a fact because I saw it hit that on the dyno...

Yep you are right.My EA hits the rev limit on 5500rpm in everygear bar 5th ( haven't tried it yet),But at least you no it an't going to distory your motor.Iam glad mine has it.

Im thinking of takin it out, I believe I might be able to modify the wiring to the auto computer, so I can rev the car up 2 6000 then change.

oh, gee damn, i would be pissed if i had a blown I6 and couldnt rev it past 5500...j/k

i think the falcon crank is good for heaps of revs if you want it to, a guy i talked to at a performance shop knew of a EF I6 (with carby!) fitted to a sprint car, obviously with massive port work etc, standard crank and spinning it to 7,000+ rpm....i think it was making like 400hp at the crank or some rediculous amount (special fuel, no cat, big revs, big ports and cam etc help....)

You see with a blower installed, you are putting less, strain on the engine in the case of revs, for example, without a blower, in third gear 3.45 mind you its a 4speed, but I did never really use 4, as I didnt need to, even when I ran it down the quarter, your at 110 kms and in 3 its reving at a litle over 3000rpm without blower, blower on and revs at 2700-2800, in 4 sits well below 2300. As goes for the power output without the blower at about 5000-5200rpm it would loose power, but with the blower its still gaining power, so in other words the blower stretches out the power above the rev limit to the falcons, and will rev the engines to above 6000rpm which I believe and wont do alot of damage, because you have put a force behind the revs, hence forced induction, so guys out there take out your rev limits, I am, or put in an after market ems system.
