[IMG]Picture 003.jpg[/IMG] Hi Guys, i've got a au2 xr6 auto justed installed pacemaker headers,new cat and 2 turbo mufflers ,went from 2 in 1 pipes into a straight 2 1/2" custom pipe. What i want to know is what type of chip and cam and what i should do to the head as i am just a steerer and want to put some fire under the bonnet. I dont want to go over board with cost just want to have a little surprise and a little fun.

Anyone with some ideas would be appreciated thought turbos and superchared a scarey cost and end of the day i am a real meat and potatoes man !

I wouldnt bother with a chip to be honest - the cost involved (from what Ive heard) doesnt warrant the power gains from one.
Best thing: either visit www.jimmockmotorsport.com and look at the DEV kits (different packages with approximate and apparently fairly accurate power gains).
Probably the best thing to do though is simply upgrade the cam - shouldnt cost more than about $800 fitted (and maybe change the air filter setup)
Alternative, cheaper cams are wade cams or crow cams - not sure on the power gains from these, but they are likely to be just as good as the jim mock ones!

We've been talking about this heaps here.I have looked at unichip and have looked at chiptorque hp4.Having an auto the chiptorque chip can alter the shift patterns and all the other goodies too.

Unichip is a great product but cannot adjust auto shift points .Guys here have got great results with both.Jim Mock motorsport have a good range of products for making these cars go good.

The chip is worthwhile to have fine tuning of the existing set up ,especially from the standard ford settings.
