start problem urgent
for the past few months every now and then i go to start my car and theres nothing but most times i just turn the ignition back and then it will start!
but this afternoon it did it and not matter what i did i couldnt start it!
its like the cars inhibitor switch thinks its in drive ( the car is manual so not an issue) !!!!
i turned the car to ignition witch it still has power and bridged the starter out and it still wouldnt start just turned over like it had no spark!
then all of a sudden its like i had the magic touch and boom she started!
i have a feeling it has something to do with smart lock because sometimes i start the car and its running and the smart lock light stays on so i presume that once again smart lock has caused more problems than its worth in a ford!
if someone could tell me where the smart lock module is that would be great as i will change it and see what happens cheers
also i pluged another ignition barrel in and it didnt make a diffrence!
