Hey guys, how much should I be paying to get my valve stem seals replaced?

i got a head pressure test, rocker gear clean up, maching and valve stem seals for $130. hope this help...

The seals themselves cost $30, you can do them yourself without much trouble.

so how can u tell if youre stem seals are stuffed?

my $50 quote included everything. Taking the head apart and putting it back together.

You can normally tell if they're stuffed if you have excessive smoke coming from the exhaust.

my car is blowing a bit of smoke when I start it, mainly after I have driven it for a while. I thought maybe I need to get the stem seals replaced, or it could be buring excess oil...I'm not too sure.....maybe your guys could help me out with any other suggestions?
