ok so igot mycar back from a tune up and service 2 days ago... all has been good.. Then this morning i go to start it and it just keeps kicking over but not starting, like it isnt getting any fuel and shit... did it for so long it killd the battery... anyone have any ideas as to what it could be.... its an EF Fairmont II

Can you hear the fuel pump kick over when the key is energised?
Try it anyway but give the Fuel Reg a decent tap with a spanner..
On cold nights, sometimes condensation sets inside the reg diaphragm, making it stick somewhat..

Pretty sure its your fuel pump, had same problem with a NF Fairlane... It was probably getting harder and harder to start prior to it not been able to start at all?

got RAC around and it bloody started... they told me the same thing you guys did Thanks heaps... he also said one of the cells were screwed in my battery... Thanks heaps for the help guys

haha the exact same thing happened to my car this afternoon!!! Except mine wouldn't start

(came close to kicking in a few panels!) Nrma guy said my fuel pump is stuffed...
