XC351

My EB2 (auto) has developed a stumble when taking of from idle. It dies for a sec a then takes of normally but this dosent happeh all the time but is slowly getting worse.

Dad's EF wgn is dong the same stunt - talk about annoying to drive. Mind you the whole car is annoying to drive - BUT SOME FRICKIN NEW SHOCKERS DAD ! :/

From memory, I think this problem can be related to leads / plugs - but can't remember for sure. Hopefully someone else (with a better memory) will chip in :)

OK, a few things to check:
Is it blowing smoke? If so, when?
Is the oil white?
Is there oily scum on the water in the coolant bottle?
Does the car misfire?
When was the fuel filter last changed?
Ditto leads/plugs.
Done the timing at all recently?
