Hi all,

Im sorta new to efi cars so i was just wonderin how much boost the standard 4.0 ecu/injectors etc could take?

As far as I'm aware the ED ECU and injectors should be fine for about 6psi max. Then you'll need better injectors (24lb cost about $150 each=$900 set), and a better computer, not necessarily aftermarket. I'm about to purchase 9psi EB's fairmont, which is running 24lb injectors and a EL ECU. As far as I'm aware he is running a powerdyne blower at 7 psi. I plan to put a better computer in it later on, say a EMS, but this will cost about $1600 + tuning. You can run a low boost setup with the standard computer and injectors, but if you want decent power, you need to make a few mods.
