Been trying to find this wire
without having to rip apart my dash
for a while now in my spare time
but no luck
if anyone who has fitted a aftermarket shift light or tacho could help it would be greatly appreciated

Try the back of the diagnostics connector underneath the fusebox. Should be a pink/blue wire although I'm unsure if they changed the colour in the EF.
