Thermos, MPFI conversion and ECUs
Okay, now I'm slowly getting all the partsd I need to convert my CFI EA to EL mpfi. Along my journey I also picked up a set of EL thermos in good condition for just over $100. Now I am wondering, what would be the better setup for the thermos? Should I go for the aftermarket approach and use thermoswitches or should I use the ECU to control the fans, as is standard operation in an EL. If I do choose to use the ECU, how do I hook them up to the ECU, do I just mod a pin to wire them in? Does anyone have a pinout for an EEC5?
P.S (Yes i do know EEC5 requires smartlock, but as I alreadsy have an aftermarket alarm system installed, I am going to purchase the smartlock bypass unit from Ford)
