Correct. If you've got a 4 speed and a 3.9, you should have 2 TPS.
And yes, if you're car is clunky changes gears and won't go into over drive, then it's likely to be your tps.
The connection to the trans runs from somewhere on the drivers side, round the back of the rocker cover, then under the manifold.
It'll be in a black tube, with a chunky three pin connector on the end of it. It is independant of the inlet manifold loom and the ecu loom.
