Tickford Build Tips

Hey all
Thought I would start a thread up here in the build I am going to undertake. After any tips, info and help.
Here is a rundown on what the plan it,

Going to run a EL Tickford 4L Engine. (cant run any VCT under the rules I will be racing in)
Doing a complete rebuild on it: Rings/Bearings/Head Gasket Set/Head Bolts/Timing Chain.
Going to get engine compression ratio to 10.1.
Have Heads and manifolds ported and polished
Get Kelford cams to modify my camshaft and run adjustable cam gear
Modify Intake Manifold to run a Holley 350CFM. (Only carbys under the rules)
Lightened Flywheel
Balanced Crankshaft
Balance pistons/rods
XE Mechanical Distributor and get rid of the coil packs/ecu etc

What do you all think?
Any tips or helpfull info or anything you would recommend or not recomment?

Thanks heaps
