hi

i have a 96 xh falcon ute. It runs the ed manifold with EEC4. I purchased the ute with a tickford head on it (has a great big T and 94dt stamped on the front, so not 100% sure.)
My questions are:

1. is this a tickford head and would it have a tickford cam?

2. time for the plugs to be changed, so should i be using XR plugs or standard plugs? currently has standard plugs.

3. is the standard xh manifold and computer going to impact on the cars performance, due to a different head?

If you can help with these 3 questions i would be very grateful.

Yes it is a Tickford head, You would have to assume it has a Tickford Cam, But cant be certain. I would be using the XR Plugs - Not sure on the comp i would assume it would be ok but maybe someone else can help you on this

IT is most deffinatly a tickfod head and yes u want to be using the XR plugs. But if a person bought the head by themselves they may not have bought a XR cam and may have used the stock cam. the computer wont hinder the perfomance but if u found a XH xr6 ecu u will get more power because the managment system was different and was much better.
