i did already post but i dont think it was in this area. new to the ford forum. what im trying not to do is pull all my hair out( very little). what i thought i could do is replace my timing belt. could some one tell me where the marks are or how to put the belt back on with everyting in time? crank, cam, dist, positions? its an 86 ranger 2.0. thanks a mill for your time....

There should be one dot on each cog of course, now to just get it in a running capability the distributor should be right before the 4th plug wire. try not to crack or break the distributor cap or you do got to pay up $25 for piece of plastic. Good Luck.
