Urgent: Cam Timing
Hi, I have a stage 3 crow kit, On sat i am going to do the cam timing. The kit included a cam timing gear and when i first put it in i was told to use the same timing as std.
To set the timing, using a dial indicator, where do I put it? Does it have to go on the crank shaft? This is what crow told me to do, "The cam timing we would put a dial indicator on the inlet rocker arm
directly over the valve and set the lift to .065" to .070" at TDC".
Is this rite? Please help. I have the specs, do i have to refer to them?
