I've spent the last two days doing my mpfi conversion(i know shouldnt take that long) its starting to piss me off(heh)
The problems im having are as follows:
1. The green/red wire plug that connect to motor was wrong plug.The one from the motor was female,same as injector loom, so i just cut the male plug off the cfi loom on used wire clips to attach.Was this ok to do??
2. On the big round ecu plug all the wires match except for a second red wire on the injector loom. The ecu loom has a blue/white wire that corrisponds with the red wire. I did add the grey/white from the isc plug to the ecu loom and it matched the injector wire. The ecu only has one big red wire.
3.I cant seem to get the kickdown cable and throttle cable set right on the throttlebody. Can anyone post pics or tell me how it is setup? There is 2 brackets, one on kickdown and one on motor.
4.the pink wire at the front of the manifold. Its part of the injector loom but i cant seem to find a plug or wire that it connects too.Its light pinkish in colour and has white plug on the bolt that holds the idle motor on.
5.umm diagram of all heater hoses and other hoses to where they all connect to would be great.
Also if anyone that lives near caboolture ,morayfield,bribie island ,ect that has done the conversion could come to my place to help or tell me what to do would be great!!!!
