Will the fuel pump from a V8 E series falcon, be a straight fit into a eb sedan?

Well there you go, I've just put a V8 in my Eb and didnt change the fuel pump and it seems to run pretty good but I might change it and it will run even better

6 & 8-240cc in 10sec @250kpa
XR6 280cc in 10sec @300kpa
and thats straight from the repair manual so I think your after an XR6 fuel pump

the pump only supplys flow, not pressure, it would be better to fit a XR pressure regulator than a new fuel pump, see how you go with more fuel pressure - is there a problem with your car or are you just wondering?

No, i am considering a wet nitrous kit from ozrace, (my mate is trying to con me into buying one with him so he gets a discount!!) and i need 40 psi of fuel in the fuel rail for the kit to work safely.

What is a fuel regulator that can supply 40 psi worth new? does anybody know?

how about the regulator from an xr from the wreckers?

There is no diff between V8,XR6,STD fuel pumps apart from build dates and sedan and wagon.

as ROLLIN said the differance is in the regulators a EF XR6 one is worth about $230.00 retail from ford

yup there is definately no differnce....even a sprint runs the same pump as an eb6

I was just about to say what botch said, coz i had to replace my sprints pump earlier in the year and when i had it done at ford i asked why it was so expensive (thinking the sprint might have had a special pump) and was told that the pumps were all the same.
