If im in my car with engine turned off and the blower switched to cabin it last for about 30 seconds before it defaults to demister is that normal or do I have a substantial vacuum leak? The reason I say this is becuase the engine at idle has a slight miss and has done so ever since ive owned it its an xh falcon ute 97 model MFI inline 6 auto with ac and (power Steering)! Just so you know i clamped the fuel return line a couple of days ago and it made no difference and the Idle control valve(solenoid) works still.

the miss is a factory fault that ford admitted to having in the cars but they never found out why the miss happens!
and the vacum thing is normal if you are ever towing you will actually notice if you are going up a hill and you put a bit of throttle into it with out it dropping back a gear it will actually loose vacum and go to dimister!
