vrs kit

wat is in a vrs kit??
i got an ef with leaky head down the block and cant afford to fix it unless i do it myself autobarn said vrs kit is $92 and repco said $199.
is autobarn stuff crap quality or is repco a rip off?????

I donno dude, but Autobahn have in the past couple of months been giving me much better prices then most and even been able to get parts that no one else can...

Repco are theives!!!
VRS Kit - Top End Gaskets.
Bursons are probly cheaper again, and not bad quality.

yes i know ive price a couple of other things and found repco to be sometimes dearer than genuine parts from ford!!

and i didnt even know about bursons, i didnt think they were in vic but from website i see theres a store 10 minutes from me DOH

bursons are cheapest when u get the head shaved dont go the cheap way out or you'll end up with the problems ive got a rocker arm off centre hittng runner creating topend friction grrr....

vrs - valve regrind set

as a rule u get what u pay for. if u'r ef turns out to be the common fault of a broken head bolt, then a "head set" will do which should be about $20-30 cheaper as it doesnt have valve stem seals. i dont know how much faith i could put in a $100 vrs.

TD Cortina ED XR6 Engine, T5, 9inch, Boyd billets, 4 wheel disc etc
AU XR6 - All the usual goodies not worth bragging about
