I'm trying to find and clean or replace the IAC (idle control valve) on my 96 2.0 contour. Does it even have one and if so where is it and what does it look like?
All modern Fords should have an IAC, generally they are aluminium, cylindrical with a sometimes flat mounting face, about 150mm in length, with a 2-wire plug on them and are located on the inlet manifold and provide a by-pass circuit for idle speed control.
