We have a XE that would not run before on petrol (also has gas) I have adjusted the VAF far enoigh that it now runs ok, but misses and gets upset if you try to rev the engine. TPS has been cleaned and now tests good, VAF tests good but WAS set for a really tight spring.

Is there any stock standard way of setting these VAF sensors?

Thanks for that, already printed that, was curious though, at "At air flow meter (AFM), wind CO bypass screw OUT max. 3 to 4 turns" there is no screw on the VAF sensor, only the black cog inside for mixture adjustment.

Where is this screw, there is one on the air box (gas system) but that may not be the one we are talking about?

There is a screw with an allen key head the AFM - it's not obvious......
