ok guys iv got this great looking xf with an efi motor in it and a lot of money burning a whole in my pocket. if anyone out there had $15k to spend on a turbo 4.1 what would you buy and what would you end up with at the end of the build. Im looking at going the turbo route and am after ideas as to what my money would get me. Feel free to give me any info you have

i'd turbo an E series six if i wanted to spend 15grand on an XF, car would have to be worth spending money on first

xf6250 what mods are you doing to your engine are you running gas or are you staying with the unleaded settup

id drop in a turbo'd stock bottom end AU 6 controlled by an aftermarket ecu, shift kitted/strengthend 4 speed and a tightened 4 pinion 3.23 LSD

or you could stick with the XF motor and stengthen the bottom end and use a c4 box.
use standard XF intake manifold is more than capable of huge power, but would be made a bit better with slight porting.

id spend some on the suspension, put some big brakes on and a good set of mags/tyres. traction will be your main problem....

i'm going a custom rod, custom forged pistons, o-ring block, custom valves etc, staying with the petrol and running a Wolf 3D ECU
