Ive just installed a tacho to my xf falcon, It has 4.1l carby motor runing on gas. And i was just wondering what the redline for this engine is i know peak power is around 3750 rpm

I wouldn't be revving it much more than 3800rpm, is the engine stock? eg. stock cams and head? If so you'd be getting peak power about 3600 or so and would be pointless revving over 3800rpm.

yeah just wanted to no what the acctual redline was and yes the enigne is basically stock execept for the extractors and soon to be 2 1/2 exhuast.

unless you have a very good mixer the LPg would be roughly 500rpm lower than fuel seeming as it is bottlenecked by the webber..

If it's a XF it should have a 34adm weber
