hey i've heard about xf turbo's and im really interested in making a conversion but i cant find any info on them. does anyone know what to do or where i could go to find information about them (im in wa).

any help would be appreciated.

The usual way to get an XF turbo is to do a custom job yourself, getting 2nd hand and reco parts, like getting a truck intercooler fabricated to fit, finding a reco T04 or similar and getting manifolds and pipes made to suit. Ive seen one kit, but that goes for $5000 and doesnt include an intercooler. Im going about slowly converting an XE to run on straight gas with a T04. Try doing a search on www.performanceforums.com, there is heaps of info there.

look in the trading post, there sometimes are a few turbo 250 kits for sale and some of them are complete, turbo, turbo manifold, i think pearly is still selling his turbo kit.

does anyone know how to cut up the manifold on an xf 4.1 to fit a turbo

youre best off getting a custom one made up to fit, it also helps if u can weld or a freind can cause it will save u a fortune.

hey blueovalxfboy, there are afew places to get them from, where u live?
If your in melb, there is gas research in hallam (i think) the guy who makes them also made the manifold on gas250's car, also racetec in dandenong.
