On the Full Boost website and i was reading up on a VL Turbo and say it had a dyno figure of 531rwhp and i thought daves XF Turbo puts out 564rwhp and i was just wondering if dave put a powerglide box in his xf do u recon it would run 9 sec quarters or not and also wat do u recon it would take to runa 9 sec quarter in an XF???

Donno about the powerglide, ive seen some cars running 9s with c6/c10 wateva.
Is dave's XF the blue one with the GT40?

that blue one is johns hes runnin a C9 and slicks and just put a GT42 (i think) turbo on but no big results yet and his xf puts out about 50 to 60 kw's less wit an auto box on the dyno for a 10.8 1/4

Oh ye, i got a few pics of Daves car, funny i never seen it around.

Going back to the original topic, wouldnt the car go slower with a 2spd transmission? I know its a drag trans but dosnt having more gears let you go faster?
Am i missing something?

oh yeah and not sure on the statement more gears = faster it depends on stalls and gear ratios but the rule is auto use more power than manuals to get the power to the rear wheels but the powerglides use even less power than a manual and they r auto so u dont loose time wit the clutch on the straight like a manual does
