Hey i just recently purchased a xf with a 250 alloy head efi. I changed the fuel the other day and since then it hasnt been running right.popping and not making any power. like it doesnt have a ll cylinders. i change the plugs and leads and still not going any good. Would someone please be able to help me asap i need to get her back on the road. Thanx

u mean the fuel filter?>>> or fuel.... did u put the leads on right? and the filter on the right way around... make sure all intake pipes are tight from air box to tb

sorry i mean i changed the oil. should i do the fuel filter?

It ran ok before you changed the oil?

Did you undo, shift, bump, block off, open up anything else?

I've just bought a dunga S pac wagon with one of these motors, I posted a thread about what problems they suffer and vacuum leaks and cam lobe wear was the reply.

Yeh it ran alright before i changed the oil. chkd for vac leaks with wd40. does anyone think the sump bolt or oil filter not done up tight enough could cause it? its only under load

Do you have oil running out of it?

Nah mate no oil running out of it. Took my vacum of the reg and ran ok. Traced it back to fuel pump. Thanx guys
