Ok guys, i finally got the ED XR cam that has been lyin around the house installed. Well so i wasnt expecting anything dramatic and it looks like my expectations were right... Didnt really notice any gains in power, although as one guy from here said, the engine response is a little better... but not by much. It also brought the power range down a little... usually i need to spin the engine over 3000 for anything decent but it seems to pick up around 2500 now..Im hoping a chip will complete the package and release all the hidden power :) The engine starts and runs ok... idle is almost standard (bit rough in neutral) Definately didnt lose and power which i was worried about..

Try get your hands on an xr6 computer to make the most of the cam.
The xr6 head also had slightly different porting.
