G'day ya all, this new dude has a Question for you technical minded folk !!
Bosch injector Part number for STD XR6 (EF)? also EB ? if any body has got this would be the Wiz !!
Or Iffin they know some where I could find it !!

Also any Reference on this injector number ? 280150736 Bosch of course !

EF XR inj are identical to the standard injector .. unsure about part number as i sold my EF long time ago

But surly the EF GLi and the EF XR6 dont share the Same injectors ??

yep they do ...

the std I6 injector is already way oversized for an NA6 ... u will need to push up to 220kw at the wheel before they start maxing out

Yes they are the same, and im pretty sure that they are the same as the EB/D ones.

Well Smack my PUCK !

I just forked out good money for So called XR6 injectors, in the Antispaiton they where of a slightly higher Caliber !!
The Questions Arrived when I removed the injectors from the Wifes NA only to see the Same Part number !!
Whats a set of secondhand STD 736 injectors worth then ??
get them Done up as Spare I guess !!

anybody know what the lb/hr of stock I6 injectors are with stock fuel pressure, and/or what they become with XR6 pressure? stock is 250-300kpa, XR6 is 300-350kpa...

no, with the new computer i put the XR one back in, to give the car some more headroom.

i think maybe my MAF sensor transfer curve is out though, as the car runs best when the computer is under the impression that 32lb/hr injectors are fitted! it runs rich if i tell it they are smaller, and lean if i tell it they are bigger!

EDIT: i just found the specs for our injectors i think! it took me ages...i even looked at the bosch site, they say EB/D should have 790 injectors, not 736...WTF? anyway, here are the specs, from this website :http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm

(18.25)191.8

it doesnt have at what pressure though...the 790 (which is what bosch says we have) is nearly the same - 18.15lb/h and 190.8cc/m

which indicates to me that my MAF transfer is way off....damn, just when i thought i had this thing sorted! another guessing game followed by a trip to the dyno...
