hows it going boys?

New member.

I know these sort of questions have been asked a billion times, but i can never seem to find a proper answer.

I currently own an EF XR6 manual, since owning it ive added a 2.5 inch cat back system and a k&n air filter and i'm getting extractors fitted tommorow, how much of an improvment in power can i expect at the flywheel?

Anywhere between 5 and 15 rwKW I would reckon - depends on the extractors, engine condition etc.

15KW for a complete exhaust with extracors??? Id expect abit more than that when ive hared a K&N Filter is supposedly meant to be an extra 5KW???
What sort of extracorts are u getting fitted??? Where bouts in Sydney??

Yes! 15 rwkw for extractors - that's 20kw at the engine. That's around 10% or more - a pretty good improvement. He already has the exhaust system on so we're just talking about how much power increase for the extractors. And a K&N is worth about 3kw - maybe 5kw in a V8.

Sorry bout that,for some stupid reason i thought u meant 15KW improvement with extractors and 2.5' exhaust over stock XR.

sandy cortis mufflers, there a small setup across the road from work. Got them fitted now, the exhaust sounds fat! definatly goes harder as well!!!
