i was reving me EB XR6 Auto the other night to show off me note to a couple of mates, i was reving it to about 4500 - 5000 pumping it and i took my foot of the accelerator and the cars revs just died all the way down to 0 revs and the whole cars lights dimmed then the revs jumped back up to idle i repeated the reving 2 more times at lower revs and it did the same thing. it has a little bit of a lumpy idle aswell and every time i start her she seems to smell excesively fuely out of the exaust... ohh it also have a rooted auto tranny in it.

any help at all would be much appreciated...

Firstly check the car battery..
Clean the tps sensor on the throttle body.If this doesnt work clean the throtle body. If cleaning the throttle does not work.Check you coolant temperature sensor. A faulty coolant temp sensor will make the car run too rich at idle and at all engine speeds especially when cold. It is also responsible for major fuel consuptionon most cars.The other sensors that should be checked after this are the map sensor and ego sensor.

Ye i checked the battery and it wasnt that, but i dont know to much about the sensors and throttle body so i wont try anything. can u reccomend who i could take it to?
