im finally taking my xd down to the motorplex tonight to see what she'll do ive only put a set of M/T sportsman pros on (28x10.5) and set of treaded front runners im going to be running the full exhaust basically in full street trim except ill be running avgas, bit nervous and anxious to see how it goes hopefully it doesnt get to lose on me wouldnt want to slap the wall in it, ill let u know how it goes with a post of my time slips tonight :) wish me luck

Good luck mate I took my XD out on Sportsman Pros last week you'll have a blast. Just remember to knock the preasure down a few PSI I did my first run on 20 PSI & it was out of control.

what Psi did u end up running some guys i spoke to over here reckonedto start off at 26psi and work ur way up it didnt sound right??

Go for 17 & then adjust them down a psi or 2 for more traction or up for a little more stability to preference but at 26 they'll be scary

Good luck, you're probably on your way already, but I wanted to tell you the traction on Wednesday nights is lousy. The streets have better traction, seriously. The organisers scrimp on traction compound I was told for the Woop Ass Wednesday.

But they do re-apply the traction compound after an oil down, so it is good to hang back sometimes and run just after.

If it hooks up, take a second off that. I'll still guess at low 11's for now.
I know a dood here in Cairns that runs 11.6 in a XD Faimont Ghia, with 2v heads, F246, 3500stall and 3.9 gears. He put his car on the dyno and it made 310 rwhp. Realistically it should be more like 350 rwhp.

I was nearly going to go to the drags to check it out, but decided I'll wait on line instead.

Couldn't see me going there and not able to resist the temptation to run my car also... Because I'm not ready for it until I get some better fuel..

So my guess is really low 12's...
